How We Help

We provide good quality food and practical support to local individuals and families – paving the way to a better tomorrow.

Fruit & Vegetables

Rescued and donated fruit and vegetables on market days.

Bread & Bakery

Sliced loaves, rolls and other bakery goods.

Pantry Staples

Everyday essentials and fridge items to help families.

Community Support

Food distribution, practical support and a friendly welcome.

Two markets, one mission.

Happy Pantry runs two market areas side by side. They work differently on purpose — so we can feed as many people as possible within the community with free donated food, while also bringing in more discounted produce and products from a diverse range of farmers and suppliers who back us at our farm-fresh market.

Free Community Market

Donated & rescued food — always free. We have agreements with many of our donors to give their food away free of charge — so that is exactly what we do. It goes straight to families at no cost, and we never sell donated food.

Farm-Fresh Market

Fresh produce at a fraction of the cost. Early each morning we head to the markets, working with local suppliers and donors to bring in quality fruit, vegetables and other produce at a discount. It is available for a $10 tax-deductible donation, which goes straight back into buying more, paying for fuel and trucking, and keeping the pantry fridges and coolroom stocked.

A promise to our donors

Food you donate that is specifically given to be provided freely to the community — we never put it up for sale. The farm-fresh market is a separate market, collected through our relationships with local producers and suppliers, to help even more people.

New – Box Delivery

Good food delivered to your door.

Can’t make it to the pantry? Each box includes fruit and vegetables, two loaves of bread and a savoury item. The food is free. You only pay a $25 delivery donation to cover our transport costs.

Engaging with our community

Building a stronger community together.

Ensuring a great day out and a place to stop and chat with our volunteers every week.

One of our goals is to make sure the most vulnerable and at-risk groups in Baldivis and the surrounding area can meet their basic need to feed themselves and their families each week by visiting the Happy Pantry Shed – while enjoying a nice day out, connecting with our friendly and dedicated volunteers, and catching up with others in their local community over a cuppa and a hot soup or pasta.

We encourage local and corporate generosity through donations and volunteer recruitment. If you have the capacity to help us in our endeavour, please contact us to learn more.
